At the age of 12 Marie Colangelo began her fighting career. With a goal in mind to filter a natural urge to turn fighting into something positive, she found a trainer and hit the mats. She studied various martial art forms as a part of her training and conditioning.

Marie Colangelo Makes a Successful Return to MMA
Marie Colangelo made her highly anticpated return to the sport of MMA on Friday October 9th at NAAFS Cage Fury 7 in Cleveland, OH where she defeated Michelle Sansom by TKO at 1:58 of the first round. With the win, Marie now finds herself in line for a title shot against #1 ranked Jessica Eye to determine the first NAAFS Women's Champion!
